Ingredients: 500 gr (1 lb) flour; 200 gr (8 oz) sugar; 150 gr (6 oz) honey; 6 egg yolks; oil or lard; water.

Mix the flour with the egg yolks and half of the sugar until mixture is smooth and homogeneous (in the mixture, if you want, add a little bit of olive oil to make it smoother). Form sticks, cut into pieces of 1-2 cm (0.5 inch) and fry them in hot lard or oil for 2 minutes. Dissolve the remaining sugar and honey with a little bit of water over medium heat. Add the pieces of pasta and continue cooking. As soon as they stick together, you have to pour them in small piles on a marble table anointed with oil and let them cool.
